2021 was an interesting year. It was, in many ways, better than 2020, but relatively speaking, couldn’t we say the same about any other year in modern history? It moved fast. We adjusted and reacted in real-time to new realities and exciting new ventures. Ultimately, when the dust settled, we came through with our best year yet, and with exponential growth on the horizon.
These last couple years have been a ‘mutha for all of us. But I feel more motivated than ever to push forward and carry the momentum we’ve built into the new year and beyond. The holidays are an amazing time for many of us, but can also be incredibly challenging, depressing, and stressful for others. If you’re like me, maybe it’s a little bit of both. But as I look back at the year and ahead to what’s in front of us, I’m focused on showing grace and being thankful for what I have around me – and here at Proof, our greatest assets are the people that choose to come in (and go all-in) every day.
Paul, Landon, and Nick are killing it on the design and creative side. We’re putting our very best work out today, and with their powers combined, they are a force to be reckoned with.
Mihai and Ana got married this year! (woohoo!) and continue to represent Proof from the other corner of the world in Romania. If you’ve ever had a good line of copy written or a beautiful website developed by Proof, you have these two amazing individuals to thank.
Dave is rocking our day-to-day project management and has us working more efficiently than ever. Knowing what to do, when to do it, and the best way to go about it goes a LONG way. How he still puts up with me after 10+ years of working together… I don’t know, you’d have to ask him.
Ryan is the ‘new guy’ on the crew and has brought a wealth of knowledge as we dive deeper into video and photo production in the new year. We’re excited to tell stories in a more dynamic and engaging way through this medium and Ryan is a rockstar behind the camera.
Zach is leading the charge for biz dev and is bringing Proof to new heights through meaningful, intentional partnerships. He just welcomed his second child, the cutest little dude named Lando (which is also a totally cool name).
Life is good at Proof and we have a lot to be thankful for. We’re thankful for each other – that we get to do what we love (most) days – and that we get to work with great clients that make our job challenging, rewarding, and without a dull moment.
It’s customary (well, at least since 2016) to ‘sign off’ on the year with a mixtape of our favorite tunes right now. Our 2021 Proof Mixtape is live and ready for your listening pleasure. If you’re going on a long road trip, or just need a minute to break and step away from the inlaws, we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
